Does this compressor upload my images?
No. Compression is performed in your browser with Canvas export APIs.
Will every image become smaller?
No. The tool shows the real output size after processing, including cases where a file becomes larger.
Why does PNG compression behave differently?
PNG output through Canvas is not JPEG-style lossy compression, so PNG files may not shrink much or at all.
Can I resize before compression?
Yes. Use the resize section when you want smaller dimensions before encoding.
